UGA Updates

Hello everyone:

First, I would like to thank you everyone for their support. I love to see this site keep on going and would love to see everyone here take part in it. I created this site for you! So take advantage of it and enjoy meeting new friends and invite them for a round of golf. The purpose of this site was to gather our wgt friends together and for a better communication and a closer connection with your wgt friends.

So, I will stick around to make the best of it. I have made some changes and several things have been moved around. I hope this will be easier for everyone to understand and have fun while playing in our competitions.

I have recreated the main page of UGA www.uga.x10.bz and added Tournament Rules & Leaderboards on there. You can view it through the menu above. If you have anything to add toward what I already had, don't hesitate to let me know.

We will use this forum to announce our up-coming tournaments or any news and our admin team will forward our upcoming and current events to you via Private Message or through your email. You should always check the forum latest topics and your email and your PM for any update.

From now on, you will post your result for that specified tournament on the Leaderboards page of UGA main page. Click on leaderboards on menu bar will link you through it.

I have move the chat to the next page under "chat" up above menu.

Please use our forum for any discussion or suggestion to help us improve our site or events. If you would like to create an event, please post it under "Event organzied by UGA member." As for Cc vs Cc, please post it under cc vs cc tournament announcement category. Be sure to leave your contact if you are planning to host that event. This will let players know who to come to for questions.

Todd, will runs blitz tournaments. If you have any question, contact him.

After the end of May, I will take out the Monthly Nike's Ball Challenge. I will put in toward some other event(s) that are more active like the bracket events in example. I will announce about it some time later. We can come up with some sponsorship ideas toward our events. Any suggestion is welcome.

This is absolutely great news Mikey .... I knew you'd see sense . Now come on folks , your input on what is to be included in the site is of paramount importance, so Mike and Todd and the rest of the team can bring you exactly what you want.

Hey Mike, I theink we need to have chat back in the main page so when someone logs in they can see right away who is chatting and join right away without have to go to a different page. Back to that keep it simple method.

Where's the 'current participants' for the BOTBKO & ASKO gone?

I knew I had signed in for the BOTBKO but wasn't sure about the ASKO, so signed up possibly again. Access to see the current participants was useful I thought. Apart from checking to see if I'd signed up already (bad memory), I also used it to see who had signed up & would be playing prior to the day.
